Saints/Raiders - Marquez Callaway

Looks like he’s having trouble getting immediate separation so Brees is going elsewhere. Had him over the middle once but pulled the trigger to the TE already.

I think Brees arm is done. He's looked awful the first 2 games. Very 2015 Peyton Manning-esque. Saints are good enough that he can skate by but he's currently playing awful.

I hope you’re wrong because I’ve always loved Drew Brees. His mechanics are damn near picture perfect.

None bigger than that pass interference penalty on 3rd and 5 with just over two minutes left.

I disagree. Saints were sustaining Raiders' drives with penalties all night Literally every touchdown drive the Raiders had in the game, saw one or more NO penalties keeping it going.

Fair enough. They committed a ton of penalties all night. I'm not going to debate that.

In that situation they were getting the ball back with a chance tie the game, though. It may not have mattered in the end, but that was a big 29-yard penalty that extended the drive and put the Raiders in FG range which ultimately put the game out of reach.

Side note, Waller was a beast tonight.

He absolutely balled out tonight.

Not going to lie, I had my doubts about Gruden returning, and I know Brees didn't play his best game, but the Raiders looked solid, all things considered.

Saw it that way too. Calloway had a couple of steps on the defender.

Loved that Jakob Johnson got a TD catch yesterday for the Pats. That was cool, I had forgotten about him.

And @Freak, I have Michael Thomas too. Killing me right now. I picked up Smith, and I have Emmanuel Sanders, and Sanders got me all of 2.30 points.

I'm very unhappy with the Saints passing game at the moment.

Tuned in late to see what the former Vols we doing. I've not been watching NFL for personal reasons. Are all the games this awkward?
This was a very good game actually. Lot of talent on display. Impressed with what Gruden’s built.

If we’re talking about the same play he certainly did and if Brees had an extra half a second it would’ve been a big gainer. From what it looked like to me Brees was looking his way on several plays early but came off of him every time just after the release. MC has gotta learn to win at the LOS.

Anybody watching? Was hoping to see Marquez Callaway get a catch tonight. He’s been in the game but Brees hasn’t thrown to him, that I've seen anyway.

Kamara did have a nice touchdown run though.

It’s weird seeing Witten in a Raiders uniform.

Kamara - - It makes me sick to watch this guy now, and think back to his misspent youth on the hill. Another damning brick in the Butch pile of rubble.

Hadn't even realized Jakob Johnson had seen action. That's awesome that he got a TD, even if it was only a 1-yarder! :)

That's going to be the biggest indictment of Butch if he ends up having a long, productive pro career. He basically did nothing when he was here, outside of a little playing time as a Freshman at LB.

Kamara's under usage already wins the biggest indictment of Butch.

Collecting that $1 million paycheck!

Don't think he's ever going to be a starting NFL QB again, but good for him for getting that money while he can.

Guess he's technically the backup as ESPN says Marcus Mariota is on IR.
Mariota: such an ironman

You all remember the HYPE that surrounded Jakob when he was recruited...then like 3 years later, I was like wait, that guy still plays for us...HAHAHA
Awesome to see these guys truly rise above what must have been the crappiest of experiences in college and do good things at the next level.
Definition of VFL if you ask me.
