Hard to feel sorry for someone that's made over $30M in his career. He's had a great run.

Theres a lot of miles on that big ole body! As far as I know, he hasn't had any major injuries, should go ahead and enjoy retirement.

Listen my children , I have a story about 2 similar FB coaches. Once upon a time, 2 coaches came to a school of infinite fame and renown. Both had names blessed with alliteration. Both had played end in college and were touted as "can't miss" , referring to their percieved coaching skills ( some said this - not all) . Coach A had a respectable , not gaudy, but above-average record. A record that would have kept him employed at most schools . But, this school is not most schools. The expectations here are similar to the ones for BB at Big Blue U. So he was fired- the thing he could never overcome was a stupid fake-punt play called vrs the Ga Bulldogs . Coach Bs record- not good at all. Actually horrible . They coached at the same place 40 yrs apart. For 10 pts each- name the coaches, the school, and for 70 pts name the one thing ( there are many possibilities- but 1 sticks out) that will make this coach decide to find another way to make money.

Good thing I wagered 0, Alex

Alliteration makes me thing Phil Fulmer and Derek Dooley. But they are not 40 years apart.

Mods need to understand that I, like many others I suspect, am on VN for reasons consisting of 75% humor, and 25% information. If they start deleting 75% of my reason for being on VN, then.........

I think he just tried again and was eliminated from VN. That's a bummer because I am a big fan of SNL. Was really hoping for a 1990's Bill Brasky quote.
