It's not just Coach Strip but also Coach Jancek and his aggressive play calling on 3rd down. Those sacks are getting generated because we are finally using the LEO defense. I saw multiple downs where we had 3 down on line with Veeren/Smith rushing out of LEO. Jancek has also been implementing big lines on running downs and quick lines on passing downs. I've noticed multiple times where Walls and O'Brien/Hood/Miller have been in for passing downs. Getting that kind of speed upfront is important to generate consistent pass rush.

Have 12 so far this year. Had 17 all of last year.

Clowney had 4 solo tackles, 1 assist, and ZERO sacks. Worley isn't exactly RGIII.

And for the most part out sacks are coming off of front four rushers only.

'tis the height of irony that we quietly amassed four sacks which totaled 17 yards against Connor Shaw, a mobile quarterback, whereas Clowney was responsible for no sacks and South Carolina as a team only sacked Worley, whom history will not record as being fleet of foot, only once for six yards.
