I'm not really reading anything that makes me think Trent is jumping ship all of a sudden.

He seems very tight with Thompson. At the least he was a big reason Richardson was going to Bama. You can look at Giles earlier with us. He was tight with Drayton. If he would have stayed Giles would be a UT commit. Same thing with Mosses. He was tight with Scott. If he stayed Mosses would have been a Vol. Scott went to UVA. Now guess what Mosses per. Rivals is leaning to UVA. It has alot to do with the relationship and trust you build with the person who is recruiting you. He is the face of the school till you actually get the kid on campus. This really hurts Bama IMO with this years class.

These guys are the ones who build the relationships with theses kids,it makes a differnce.

I'm hoping that is why Thompson wasn't answering the phone...if not he better have a damn good reason for not picking up the phone and selling some orange.

This is such a great hire on so many levels. Lane is quickly becoming public enemy #1 with SEC head coaches. That is a great thing.

I think a player can contact the school during the dead period but they can't contact the player.

Also, Thompson's cell phone might be property of Bama and turned back in. This might be the reason he could not be reached.
