Disappointing loss, but our team played hard for most of the game. The mentality and discipline in Pruitt's team is very evident compared to Lyle's team.
Pruitt is the right guy and he's doing good things with subpar talent.
Saban only went 7-6 his first year so let's give Pruitt his chance too.
We WILL upset some teams this year and don't be surprised if WV is in the CFP this year.

Don't start with that
saban went 7-6 ****. We looked like hot garbage out there. We were not prepared

You are correct but Pruitt is not Saban and Shula left Bama with a good roster but Butch did not leave us with a roster like that

I love that this fact is quoted with each new coaching hire. Kiffin, Dooley, Jones, and now Pruitt. Perpetual Hope University.

Saban immediately started recruiting at a truly elite level and has never let up. Tennessee will be 6th or 7th in their own conference in recruiting in good years. If 6-8 wins satisfies you, you're in luck. Not Cornbread's fault. Half the conference has an entrenched advantage over TN in recruiting and that won't be changing.

This not quitting talk was all said during Kiffen's season then Dooley's first season then Butch's first two seasons. When did not quitting become the goal.

The only hope I have at this point is that UT admin doesn't do something stupid like give another freaking contract extension before it is earned because I sure did not see a 20 million dollar investment on the field today.

Saban has never lost a game at Bama by more than 13 points. He has coached there for 11 seasons. In one game as UT head coach Pruitt has lost a game by more than Saban has in 11 seasons. Please don’t try to make a comparison between the two if you don’t know anything about Saban’s stats other than his 07 record. Just an FYI Saban beat Fulmer by like 40 points during his 7-6 season

Catch 22 with Pruitt is if he goes on a Saban like run, he will take over Bama when Sabam retires. Bama isn’t getting Dabo to come home. Bama literally would offer Dabo nothing he doesn’t have now. Also, you never follow a legend, mich less the greatest coach in history. When Bama strikes out on Dabo, they will go after Pruitt if and only if Pruitt is winning.
