Saban at Bama went his first year 6-6 with a bowl win, 7-6. So if Pruitt can go 6-6 this year with a Bowl win, I'll be happy. I would be disappointed with 5-7, but I do understand the depth of our problems. I want to see improvements. There should be some real improvement from game 1 to 2. 1 step at a time to get back up the mountain.

Saban also inherited a 6-6 club. So he only held serve his first year. Please do not forget that.

Comparing apples to apples, if Pruitt went 4-8, he would hold serve as well since we were 4-8 last year.

So, to me, 5 wins or more shows improvement. Six is my goal, but 5-7 does show improvement.

Yep, and they have UF ranked 19 and SC ranked 30th, even though SC is coming off 9 wins and UF is coming off 4 wins, plus SC beat UF head to head. Makes sense to me.

Sc will take floriduh to the shed this year. Muschamps defense is always good, and they actually have a decent offense this year. Nice to have a defense where you only need to score 24 points or so to win 90% of the time. Got your star player back on offense Debo Samuel? As well as good QB and backs. We will have a hard game in columbia. I have been there 3 times, including 1998 when we won it all. Tee martin completed about 20 in a row, we won in a rout...i was there with only a pretty girl and didnt have to fight my way out. Everyone has always been respectful there, and i tip my hat to SC fans for that. Go Vols
