Thank you for the clarification Matt.

We have finally figured out our third and long issues. The D backs aren't communicating coverages. Should be an easy fix.

DB's "QB" defenses all the time. It's not as common as having a linebacker do it, but DB's do it, too. I'm sure Hefney won't have a problem doing it need be.

While Karl isnt an NFL type player, he puts himself in the right place at the right time and makes plays. I dont know if you've ever watched him closely or just dismissed him based on his rivals rating but he played very well last year. His biggest contribution you didnt see though is that he is the QB of the defense. He takes the calls, and makes the reads to make the defense run as best it can. Without him they are gonna have to find another guy who can master the defense. This is certainly a bigger loss than may may perceive.
That is exactly what I was gonna say about Karl but you beat me to it.... :eek:k:

I talked to my buddy Bob about this to see if he had the scoop. Bob said, he hurt his back, but the expectations are that he will be back by the opener. Bob said, back injuries can sometimes be tricky, but the trainers are "cautiously confident" he will be ready by September.
