Russell pitch count limit

Has CTV stated what pitch count they would like to see from him during the NCAA playoffs?
Any chance he could get up to 60 or even 70 per game without risking any further injury?

In the Saturday post game he was asked who is gonna start tomorrow, he said haven’t decided or something along those lines. I wouldn’t tell the other team that until you have to do so. I think he was at 37 on Sunday, he was approaching 40.

We could use him, but only if he’s 100%.

You aren't saying they might start Russell tonight are you? Sunday makes sense. Tuesday....not so much.

No. I guess I wasn’t clear there. There is no way he pitches tonight. The question was about pitch count, and in a round about way announcing who the starter is on Sunday, the day before.
