We are blessed with great running backs,all impressed me and we got a good one in Star Thomas who was very impressive for a first game as a Vol.Im let down kindly on our defensive backs, sure hope for better play against Georgia!

If you mean Star Thomas…he’s a transfer from Duke and prior to that New Mexico State I believe. He’s been around a while but first year with us

Thanks for the name. For me it’s impressive to see a true freshman get any playing time especially in a game that was still competitive in the fourth quarter.

Star looks smaller and I was extremely impressed with how he stuck his nose in there and ran north south and showed good hands as a receiver. This is going to be fun to watch.

Heupel doesn’t give a damn about a red shirt if he thinks a guy is ready to play. If you don’t play them someone else will.
