Would like to see what yall expect from our top 2 RB's. Here is how I see it.

Tauren Poole-225 carries, 1120 yards, 8 TD's
David Oku-160 carries, 745 yards, 5 TD's.

poole-195 carries 1,085 yards
oku-106 carries 640 yards
williams-40 carries 205 yards

yea i agree with you. i just have a feeling he'll get a few good carries in certain packages due to what he showed in last years spring game

be surprised at those numbers. Be surprised if they have the holes Hardesty had which will affect numbers. IMO, no one tops a 1000 yards... too much learning to happen in OL.

I kind of agree with you LWS...but our center and one of our guards will be just a touch bigger than last year (may not have the twin bond to know what each other is thinking, though)...experience does count making holes though and most of the holes should be between the guard and tackle and, sometimes further out, just saying as everyone else has a thousand times...talent and size are there, maybe they make big holes in later games and the yards catch up

Poole > 1500 yds.
Oku > 999 yds.
Simms > 3000 yds. passing an 37 tds.
win 10 games plus a good bowl game.
Ha Ha just dreaming here guys and gals.

That was my thinking as well. Would love to see that kind of production don't get me wrong but that OL is young.

Poole-215 carries 1,460 yards
Oku-100 carries 520 yards
Williams-50 carries 125 yards

The OL will play with a pissed off attitude every game.
Getting beaten on plays will just riled them up yet another
notch. I know these things because I'm clairvoyant.

Poole will not have a 6.7 ypc average lol

Oku 132 for 502 5 TD
Poole 231 for 948 8TD
Other 57 for 160 3 TD
Rushing Only, Oku and Poole could both score a couple on screens or flares. It wouldn't surprise me to see Oku as our total yardage leader on offense.

Poole will close the gap in November and scratch the 1000 yard mark given he has big games against UT-M and UAB.

His ability to perform will depend on how well the OL and the passing game are coming along more than Poole or Oku's individual talents. If the OL isn't progressing and the D doesn't respect the passing game... well... running against 8 in the box will be hard for anyone short of Barry Sanders.
