Not sure how many saw the full interview. The first one I saw was much shorter.

He's a great interview. He goes a bit of script toward the end but it was a very genuine and organic moment.

Earlier in the interview he mentions how the coaches have no egos despite their well known and successful backgrounds and meetings take place where coaches can critique each other without anyone getting their feelings hurt. .. That in and of iteslf is a drastic change from the last staff.

Having to listen in segments and only about halfway but thanks for posting Mustafa, still trying to get familiar with these coaches.

Was this the guy who coached the Fla. defensive linemen? producing another great d-line even though they had the previous starting line up going in the draft.

That was him. I’m shocked he wasn’t retained by Mehllen. Shocked in a good way. He was awesome at Alabama, Florida, and will be at Tennessee.

Edit: oh, he was given the chance to stay, and chose to go with Pruitt. Even better!

I know the proof is in the pudding as far as W’s and L’s but man it’s nice to have coaches that sound and present themselves like real football coaches. Such a refreshing change from the past decade. These guys seem like blue collar, hard working, caring guys that love what they do.

I can imagine he should be a great recruiter. So much different from that Smith character at OSU. I kinda doubt if he would ever lose his temper for anything unless it is truly Justified

WOW, I'm a fan of Coach Rumph!!!!! Great interview and wasn't one thing I disagreed with. Great addition to the staff. CJP has assembled a fantastic staff and I personally think the results will show on Saturday's.

That’s one heck of a mentor we’ve got for our boys. Recruits are seeing this, no doubt, but you’ve got to know that current players are reinforcing what we’ve got in this staff. We are in the right path.

I agree with you, but I feel like Stripling was a good coach. Just happened to be on Butch’s staff.

We can all get excited about this coaching staff but BUTch had the best coaching staff in America. If you don't believe me, just ask bUTch

Chris rumph actually just inspired me! After watching that interview, he is now my favorite coach. He's completely down to earth and keeps it 100!

Rumph on how the S/C program is changing the player's bodies for the good: "In the spring the guys would come over to my house and I didn't mind if they took their shirt in front of my wife. Now I tell them they can't take their shirt off anymore"!!!:D I LOL

Bet there are a dozen or so strapping young men who would disagree about him losing his temper.

I really like Chris Rumph. Genuine guy. Also like the fact he says at the end of the day it’s not all about football it’s about life and teaching them to be men.

Great Interview, I like that CJP has given his Asst's a short window to let them speak to media and let the fans get a glimpse. From what I have seen CJP knows how to judge character. All coaches have given the vibe that they are genuine, so good people with good resumes...the ingredients are there and I am ready for Kickoff time!

That's a real man, right there. If what he said in the end of that interview is true, and I believe that it is, I would send my son to play for him in a heartbeat. He is shaping young men, not just football players. Genuine, Christ loving, real men that know how to treat people are priceless mentors for young men. He said if all he taught his players to do was play football, then he failed. Talks about the guys being over at his house. That's a man I am proud to have on our staff, and his words will resonate with our players. When they know a coach in invested in them, as people, young men, not just football players...they will do anything he asks of them, and to the best of their ability. Proud to have you as a Vol, coach.

That kind of philosophy and perspective resonates well with momma's & daddy's of recruits too!
