Another thing, these games that only release a small portion of the game for 70 bucks then turn around and drain you for another 70 for all the dlc over a year... I mean that trend needs to stop in all games

While I don't like the DLC/season pass business model, the truth about this is big budget AAA games should actually cost much more than the 60.00 price tag. Game development costs have skyrocketed over the last few years. Plus if you consider the fact that Atari 2600 games cost 40.00 new in 1977, adjust that for inflation in 2016 (approx 156.00) and you realize the sticker price of AAA games today are actually cheaper than they've ever been.

Compare that to movie ticket prices, where in 1977 the average movie ticket price was 2.23 per ticket, which translates to 8.72 per ticket in 2016. Yet we are paying between 12.00 and 15.00 per ticket (non matinee). And don't even get me started on the mark up of concessions.

At least the extra cost of DLC/Season passes in gaming is optional. Personally I'd rather studios meet gamers half way by raising the sticker price of games 20.00 and include everything from the get go. I'd rather see that happen and spend 79.99 than the community be divided by content.

Bo3 is right in there with with ghost and aw... there are all awful. They even gOT lazy this year and made like 8 characters. I loath bo3. Hit markers suck takes a clip to kill a guy... corny kill streaks. It's lazy. BLOPS 3 is no where near as bad as AW and Ghosts. Gimme a break. That's just nonsense.

This is true. I've used that example in my class. The kids were blown away that my NES games cost the same as their PS4 and One games haha

Did you happen to mention the cost of some Nintendo 64 titles back in 96,97,98? Some of those games were 70.00 back then! Adjusting for inflation, those games would cost about 100.00 today. Remember Neo Geo? Those VHS-sized cartridges in 1990 cost 100.00! Those today would be about 180 bucks!

Yeah was it the Neo Geo that cost like $700, or something crazy like that? I remember getting my Sega Saturn for like $400 then never playing it again once the Ps1 came out haha

I can't remember N64 games being that high, but I only owned Goldeneye, Zelda, and Mario 64. I remember being pissed that I couldn't play Majora's Mask because I had to have the little booster pak in the console.

Yeah it was ridiculous. I didn't actually know of anyone who owned one but the local video rental store where I lived rented one out. My buddies and I would get it for the weekend sometimes and play Samurai Showdown or Baseball Stars.

I had both as well. The Saturn actually had some pretty fun games, especially if you imported which I did quite a bit back then but yeah, once Resident Evil came out it was all over for the Saturn.

I thought they packed the ram expansion in with Majora's Mask didn't they? Anyway yeah, N64 games on average were about 10-15.00 higher than Playstation games because of them still using cartridge. They weren't all 70.00 but a few of the really big games were. I remember Resident Evil 2 on N64 was that high because the game contained so many cut scenes, they had to put the game on a cartridge with a ton of space.

I still prefer the Saturn's version of Symphony of the Night where you could play as Maria, but when FF7 dropped for the PS1, I had to move on. I picked up the Dreamcast too, just for Code Veronica. That system was way ahead of its time.

There may have been bundles of MM that came with the pak, but mine didn't have it. It pissed me off haha

Either your aim is trash or your connection is trash. Just about every gun is 3-5 shot kill up to medium distances.
