Rumor: Peyton Manning Closing on a Home in Cleveland (Ohio, not TN)

Why would anyone hitch their pony to the Haslam's wagon when it comes to football? Might appeal to some though, not like you could do any worse. A handful of wins a year will be seen as a massive turnaround.

I don’t know about any rumors of Peyton being a puppet or not. But common sense tells me that he could get a position with most likely any NFL club he chooses. He has more money than he will ever spend. He has been a great ambassador for us and an outstanding human being. This fiasco on the Hill has consumed most of my life over the last month and I was totally against Schiano and every other B level coach mentioned, including Tee Martin who has zero experience, although I am a big Tee fan. But I have to draw a line in the sand when we start crucifying Peyton Manning. I guess if he turns out to be the Titanic then I will just have to go down with the ship on this one.

He was paid off by Haslam. One would think PM would have better sense than to align himself with Haslam.

If the Feds file RICO charges against Haslam--he is toast.

Paid off? He's probably worth 150 million dollars if not more. Do you actually believe he took money to infinity a coaching search at his beloved alma mater?? 🙄

I don’t believe he would need the Cleveland Browns Haslam to help him get a front office job with an NFL team either. I’m sure Indy would welcome him. Not to mention they actually win every so often.
