Per a thread on 247. Now it’s just another thread, but Wes Rucker is commenting in the thread and not disputing it.

Dang, I did write last week that I think he is pretty well done for this season.

He has been a particularly bright star in an ever increasingly bright sky and I cant wait to see what he can do next season fully healed up.

No bueno. He was really the only back that could pass protect. Our run game, with the exception of Hooker improvising, is very pedestrian after Evans. UGA D gonna have a field day and make for a very long day for the Vols. We’re already wearing black for our funeral so there’s that…

Correct.
Our running game is sadly now in Norman and Chapel Hill.

Yeah, we sure could have used them to backup a healthy Evans. Watched Chandler Thursday and he is still a mix of great skill that does not get much YAC. Give him a hole and life is good. Not followed Gray much this year.

I don't think there's much point in having a cycle of letting a guy heal up just enough to make it on the field for a handful of plays before reaggravating the injury and having to come out again.

It's a shame too since in what we've seen given the opportunity he looks to have difference maker ability.

Without Tiyon Evans, our running game is very limited. The guy can pick up tough yards and knows how to gain extra yardage.
The problem is all 3 of our best running backs have been injured and are have not been able to play their best for most of the season. We need a really good of season strength and condition program this Winter.

We found a way to win mostly without him last week, so I think our coaches can scheme something up if he's not playing. Too be honest, he needs to get healthy and if that means not playing anymore this year, so be it.
