This is all I see on Coachery. I think it might be happening, but I don’t see the 3 pm bit:

Word is that terms have been agreed with an AD candidate, and MOU has been approved by the chancellor. Assuming that’s true, I’d think they’d try to share that news this afternoon or tomorrow.

Tony Basilio just said on the air that a source told him UT will announce their new athletic director today. He mentioned Texas Tech AD Kirby Hocutt and UCF AD Danny White as potential names to watch.
