Woooooooo!!!

I would link for you guys but I am on BB. Brent Hubbs spoke with Rubio late and Rubio did in fact turn down the offer. Story is at Volquest.com in the General Quarters Message Board under Brent Hubbs Tuesday Tidbits!

Get a clue. The guy is going to be a recruiting MACHINE for UT. He took an interview so WHAT, that happens in CFB. He obviously made the right choice and that was UT.

I have a clue. i would not want to be discussing anything of any recruiting importance around this guy just for the doubt. He might be a recruiting machine but for who, the highest bidder 2 days before signing day. i know some of yall might be fans of this guy, but I for one would label that interview unfortunate due to the timing. To borrow a line from the Godfather,"You are dead to me now Paulie".

I would be almost certain X tried everything he could to get this guy, he has serious ties to Florida. If a company called you 2 days before a major deadline at your current company and said, hey we will fly you out here to hear us out and possibly pay you more or offer you a better position, YOU WOULD DO IT, Rubio STAYED, he obviously thinks UT is the better "Company".

What kind of confidential, sensitive info do you think Rubio has on recruits? Phone number, 40 time, favorite color, how he prefers his steak cooked?

But if I was the company CEO and he wanted to do this 2 days before a deadline that could make or break the company's yearly profit, I'd say, but you do realize that when you come back you will not have a job!

If he is to recruit off campus we would have to give him a full time job. Are we doing this?

I actually thinks this helps us on NSD... recruits seeing Kiffin and mighty USC getting rejected... maybe it's not the garden of Eden after all... Kiffin had it made and he blew it... haha... after USC loses some games under him the honey moon will be short lived...

This +1. Everybody keeps mentioning a "mole" but are they really thinking about what they are insinuating?

What could they possibly be leaking other than information that another coaching staff could easily find out with a little effort?

The fact is that Rubio is trying to make a name for himself in the recruiting world and his connections to STA are going to serve him much better at UT than they would at USC. It's all business baby!

I think in a few years all of those coaches who went with Kiffin will have effectively committed career suicide!!!

It did not say specifics as to what his role would be, but sounds like Dooley is going to make something happen. I believe X offered him a nice gig, and he turned down so I am guessing he will be promoted soon.

is it possible that kiffin called him out there just to cause a disruption for us a few days before NSD?
