I've heard his name come up several times today in light of the LaMarcus Coker incident. I know he played well in the orange and white game and I can't think of another back on the team with more experience. Could he be the third string back for Cal?

I know he's not the most talented guy but..... it's interesting to think about. Olasimbo! - Olasmimbo! - Olasimbo!

He's done well in both of the past two O&W games.. and Bob Kesling has struggled with his name in both games.

I'd rather see Creer - but I also would prefer not having to bring a 3rd string TB into the mix unless Coker is reinstated before the game :p

Yeah, he has a cool name, but if he gets any touches it will be late in the game after we rocked them in their house. I doubt he gets more than 2-3 carries against Cal even in mop up duty.

I agree, but if Coker is expected back, Creer should redshirt.

He's this years David Yancey. Was that that guys name? I forget, but I know it had Yancey in it.

I like the kid. Small good initial speed. I think he'd sneak into the cal backfield with little to no problems.

Yea that was his name. I remember senior day against Kentucky they announced he graduated with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. That is impressive. :good!:

Fulmer said that he would be getting reps before the whole Coker thing happened so he could get a couple a game.

Yeah, Yancey used to tear it up in practice going against 2nd and 3rd teamers, but when it came to the games he didn't have the speed. I was at the spring game, and I will admit the little guy looked good.
