Also Dai Dai is likely more capable than Burg or Bishop was. So between those 3 + Henderson once healthy I agree we should be fine. We also have added a couple forwards that are more comfortable dribble driving than what we lost as well in Haralson & Lue.

Plus if ya land Juke...will have the potential to roll out 5 players that can all drive to the rim with comfort.
Am I the only one here that feels like, even if we add Juke, the one piece we are missing to punch our FF Ticket is the big, nasty, ugly, true 7-footer that can guard, rebound, defend another big nasty guy?

That's the way I see this. If Juke news falls out way and we add at least another defending, rebounding 5, then we're a legit contender in 27'.

I’m not sure if that player is out there , unless it’s international.

This is a HS Kid. Won't see the floor next year.
Dewayne Brown was ranked #97 overall in his recruiting class by Rivals and saw lots of playing time as a freshman.

Favour Ibe is ranked #82 overall in his recruiting class by Rivals. It's a bit premature to say he won't "see the floor" as a freshman.

I am extremely confident in my premature statement.

I mean...historically speaking Barnes at TN has never made an Elite Eight with a true 7 footer....so I think it's pointless and just looking for something to complain about during an offseason where we've brought in our best portal class to date.

Also...it's asking for a unicorn cause you already dismissed the top 100 rated HS recruit that's a true 7 footer. So who the hell knows what you would even agree is a "true 7-footer that can guard, rebound, defend another big nasty guy" is...most in the portal still are more unproven/lower rated than the HS kid.

Any HS Kid not named LeBron or Shaq are generally skinny and weak. We need a big muscle guy with height.

My point is simply this, we are missing that one piece that almost guarantees a FF.

WHO is this mythical true 7 footer exactly that can guarantee a FF?
