That what I am trying to figure out. Doesnt make much sense that Vandy knows of a player that is willing to be a preferred walk on, but we have no clue about it.

Ask an Indianapolis journalist off the record about Manning (and I'm guessing that it might include Denver now), and you might get a different picture of Manning than the one he needs to get all of his endorsements. No one here, though, will print anything about it because (1) they're rumors, even though they're strong, and (2) no one here wants to hear them and will choose not to believe them.

He's not nearly as stand-up as you think he is.

That's classic. Of course, this loser could not name an Indianapolis journalist if he was pressed on it much less honestly claim to have spoken with one and since when would any journalist be a sort of moral arbiter of Peyton Manning? FWIW, I guarantee you that at least one Denver journalist (our own Woody Paige) would have nothing but good things to say about Manning...Their contempt could have nothing to do with where he went to college could it? Of course not. Why, that would make the Vandy posters petty and jealous. :p
