Living in Indiana and knowing IU fans. I'll tell you all IU fans were really excited about getting Ron. They were saying that he was going to be really special for the program.

After 1989 the scoring changed. The test isn't necessarily easier, just different skills. Also, they changed the scoring. So a pre 1989 score is actually converted to be about 2 points higher.

Also, 21 was the national average for composite scores. So UT having a 27 average among enrolling freshman seems about right.
