Wow. This sucks. Was one of the local favorites who actually played good football for UT.

How likely is it that he will get his act together before the season, or is he gone for good? Did he get kicked off the team?

All I can say is Wow. And some are starters. Bad bad news here. Rogan is a piece of our pie. Not a huge piece, but he is important. The others, if they are starters, are important too. Can't plug in freshmen everywhere guys.

If he was kicked out because he was on academic probation with the University you have to prove that there were VERY unusual circumstances that prevented you from keeping your GPA above 1.99. The appeals almost always get declined. I think after academic dismissals you must sit out at least one semester in order to get your grades straightened out at a community college, so he probably won't be back until the Spring or Summer '10.

Good luck Rogan and whoever else the 8 are. We definitely need you.

It's going to be a long time before we have a full roster if these guys don't make it...especially with the SEC's new rule on oversigning.

One of the reasons that our program was in shambles. We have no option but to take this on the chin and move on. Fulmer sure was a great recruiter. I don't think I have EVER seen this many kids leave/get kicked out of school after a coaching change. Kind of makes you wonder.

Yeah, it makes you wonder what the hell Fulmer was doing his last 5 years. I mean did he just stop caring? And Kiff is gonna get all the bad pub for this. So Fulmer can sit back and grin and collect checks.

defensive backs are dropping like flies for us. this sucks.....
Well we definitely have talent coming in, but we can't expect them all to be SEC ready. Maybe Myles and Jackson, but the other guys, no way.

I am gonna wait to have anymore predictions on this season. If our starters keep falling, we will be lucky to win 6.

Guys this is a LIE!!! I know for a fact its bogus. I personally saw him getting advised on monday. He was with CJ flemming and Art Evans. If he was kicked out he would of known alot sooner then now. Grades go in quicker then 4 weeks after Spring term ends. Also you can't be advised if your no longer a student. I have had friends kicked from Ut and I was once on probation. If you get kicked you dont go to advising to appeal. You have to send a letter of appeal and then wait on a decision.

I hope you're right. Also, pardon my ignorance, what does getting advised mean? Does that mean that the student is being formally warned about failing out?

No advised for classes. tell you what to take per semester for your major and to keep you on track. You have to go once a year based on Id number up here at UT. You can go for every semester but only have to once a year. I have to for fall. I waited way to long to call for a spot and had to just walk in and wait.
