a little unexpected.... has great speed but I would think he's a 3rd-4th rounder at best...

Wow I didn't see that coming... Rogan leaving is bad for both parties.

I think he has first day talent but he may not get a good look. If he falls into or beyond the 4th round he made a bad choice.

Personally, I don't think it's THAT bad of a move. Look at what happened to Arian Foster, he was a 1st, 2nd rounder going into his senior year and decided to stay and the new coach (Clawson) hurt his draft status extraordinarily.

Grades and eligiblity have always been an issue with him. Doesn't like going to school. Hate to see him leave though.

A coach can hurt you a lot more if your an offensive player than a defensive player

Rogan was very unhappy and did not enjoy honoring the "student" part of "student-athlete," so it's no surprise he has decided to declare. He has a young daughter to take care of, if I am not mistaken, and believed it to be in his best interest to get his money now. He has the measurables and could probably make himself a top 4 round pick with a good workout. I thank him for his time here, good luck young man.

If I understand correctly, that list is just showing received eligibility to enter the draft. Just because he is on that list doesn't mean he is going to go. Correct me if I am wrong but don't the prospects have to apply for eligibility before they can receive information about their draft stock?

unfortunatley a special teams spot on an NFL team is probably gonna be a big step up from the madness that will be next year, 3 coaches in three years could isn't helping the kids out on the field.

Defensive backfield is a mess without him. Need to pull 2-3 DBs in this class.

Dumb move on his part. I think he could have used another year.

There's a good chance he would have flunked out had he stayed. It's a good decision for both Rogan and UT. Plus, he has a kid, so the sooner he starts making money, the better for him.

I think it is a good move. Imagine all the extra scouts who will come to UT to see Berry work out. Taking the grades and off-field concerns out of the equation, he will not have a better opportunity to showcase his abilities than at this year's pro day.
