Rod Wilks

I had the pleasure of watching Rod lead Smyrna High to two consecutive state championships. he was easily the best player on the field every week. He played a variety of positions on both offense and Defense. He is a smart, fast, and incredibly gifted athelete. I am suprised that he has not already established himself as a gamechanger and team leader. What's the deal? Is their something I don't know that is preventing his development to live up to these kind of expectations?

I'm not sure he's found a "home," position-wise. If he is worthy of getting PT, I'm sure he will.

Regardless, dominance in Smyrna football doesn't necessarily translate into success in the SEC. The state of Tennessee HS football are the cards we've been dealt as Vol fans, unfortunately.

Well, Im "glad" you decided to "pop in". Hopefully you feel "better" about "yourself" and can sleep "good" tonight knowing you think you are "relevant" on an internet "message board". And "my post" wasnt on Rod Wilks.....it was "on" the people that still turn every thread he is "mentioned" in, into 40 pages of "rehashed" Tebow jokes.

I don't like the "rehashed" Norris or Tebow jokes "either". Yet, I do appreciate "people" that have an original bone in their "body" to form an "original joke" about the "subject".

I am "sure" they "appreciate" your "appreciation". When you see an "original" Wilks joke, please be "sure" to let me "know".

is he still at safety? With his size around 215 - 220 and still a young guy and thr way he hits, he may be a good linebacker.

agreed......I think he's going to have to move to MLB or SLB to ever be a factor.....but with the guys that we're recruiting, I'm not sue if he will be able to beat them out either........

HAHA! A little "sensitive" in regards to the Wilks jokes are we? Do you resort to personal attacks so quickly in real life? Are you 15 or something? Good Lord, lighten up. I hope to one day be as "relevant" as someone with 6k+ posts on a message board. Keep up that charmed life big guy!!

"lighten up," says the guy that brings attention to Rod Wilks jokes..... :eek:k:
