What's funny is that he doesn't.even know what he's talking about. We've painted about 5 times and several posters have donated money and time to the rock as well. I'm starting to agree with everyone though. This game is more about the guys who are already there than the ones who may not come. Plus the rock will never be on ESPN if recruits names are on it.

I appreciate they're effort.

I don't know why any of you are complaining, I don't see any of y'all in the pictures or donating funds for paint and what not.

I'm sure they did there best and that's more than any of you are doing.

I saw a group of students repainting the rock about an hour ago. They replaced Corso with a picture of smokey with gator kill in his mouth. It wasn't finished but already looked much better.

They moved it for a garage? It used to be where the current student health center is. Now it is just across the street by the music building. Was it somewhere before those places?

Yeah. I don't know when it was in front of the student health center but it was in right at the opposite diagonal corner. Right when u started getting to fraternity park.

Does anyone have an old pic of the rock? I don't remember it having a point on the left side like it does now. I maybe wrong but I walked by it who know how many times as a student, so I'm hoping my mind isn't messing with. Sign of the west Nile...dang TX Mosquitos.

When they moved it, they exposed more of the rock so it's quite a bit taller now. That's probably why it looks a little different. You can see the line in OP's picture that shows how deep it sat before.

Is it just me or does it look like the rock has been covered up with a paper mache cast? That doesn't look like a rock to me. It has freaking seams in it. What's going on here?

This is because the rock was buried up to that point before. It has years and thousands of layers of paint built up. If you notice in the pic you can see the difference in the surface from there down.

I know some one needs to add orange to it on the inside and make it have just black trim.Trim it in white with a line of black and fill in the rest with orange.Other than its awesome now
