There were bicycle racks to the left and right. That dude with the chairs and equipment coming towards me knew what I was doing and shook his head as he he passed. He had to turn sideways to make it through.

They left them there while they walked down to the beach and looked around.

And while they were away, I would have moved them off to hte side of the pavilion, or put them in the racks.
