Looks staged, but I've felt like doing the same thing from time to time.

I've seen many of these online. But only one (I believe it was in Russia) where the man who was accusing got out of the car with a tire iron and the accused got out with a pistol. The tire iron slinger was extremely fast to back down, drop the iron and get on his hands and knees.

He did what you should do. Keep your cool and if the man wants violence, do not succumb to it.

But yes....from his quiet look to the mad mans craziness, it is extremely funny looking.

So, just out of curiosity let's say someone came up to your side window raged out like that and you decided to pull the door handle to and then smash the door into them by opening it?

The one in the OP definitely seemed fake. The way the glass shattered looked like sugar glass like they use in the movies.
