Additional 4 stars should come out tomorrow, 3 stars on Thursday and position rankings on Friday. If they're going to do a full rankings that is. They might just be doing the Top 250 for now. But that's usually how it works.
Ron was simply posting the new editions to the R250, Richmond was listed yesterday in the R100.
I would bet that Rico McGraw gets a 4th star tomorrow, outside the 250
Gonna be hard to get Josh Smith and Rico McGraw. From personally knowing the Smith brothers, I'd be shocked if they don't play together. Just my .02 cents.
I feel very sorry for Josh. I'm sure he wants to play with his brother, but I would be willing to bet that deep down Vanderbilt isn't where he wants to be.
Amadi and Phillips will be Vols. Add that to our current TN commits and Richmond, that's 6 of the top guys instate. And I'm sure I'm missing a few others who likely end up Vols. I think McGraw to UT is a decent chance. Long way to go.
+1. Josh Smith will end up at Vandy no matter what he's saying right now. He'll go wherever his brother goes. Unless they flip his brother it isn't going to happen.
No idea about McGraw. His stock has definitely slipped, although I still like him. I think he's a solid Top 250 guy, just not a national top 100 type like some sites have him.
The Top 3 guys in the state IMO are Richmond, Phillips and Jones. I'm a huge Stewart fan as well. I really hope he gets to some of the big camps and combines next spring and summer.
Yes. The reason Emmanuel didn't come to Tennessee was because we were recruiting him as an OLB and not S. Vanderbilt told him he could play S without a doubt. That's straight from the horse's mouth.
And McGraw could develop like a Mosley situation I believe. Highly touted, but stock slips some, and he loses his spot at Alabama. They have signed top DB's the past years, and are still going to sign Marlon Humphrey. That's just my guess.
But yes, Richmond is the top prospect in the state, followed by Phillips I'd believe.
