It's definitely not as complicated. I like the old one, however. They sure aren't hiding it. They did this solely to get more subscribers who didn't understand or didn't know how to calculate the old formula.

Smart move IMO, but I think Rivals realizes that we are recruiting JUCOs and didn't want to give us additional bonus points, thus necessitating the change in formula.

Since everyone is leaving them to go to 247, they must be hiring the ESPN folks to fill the vacated spots.

I like this a lot better. Much simpler. Except I don't like that Juco's don't get any bonus points. That's sure to backfire on us. However, I don't put as much stock into the rankings now that it seems like everytime we get a committment, that player's rating drops.
