Which makes the whole ranking system absolute BS. I have no idea how those that hang out in the recruiting forum survive hanging on information that is close to useless.

It can be frustrating over here, but it gives us a place to hide when the football forum gets out of control.

Hurd was no. 19 when the top 100 list went out yesterday. The first 4* behind all the 5*'s. He hasn't done the rivals camps either. I can only see him as a 5* after next season should he have one like his junior year.

Damn. I was thinking he was going to be a great player...but unfortunately he didn't get that bump.

I nearly died in the recruiting forum yesterday. Luckily I was brought back to life by a football forum thread titled "Marlin Lane?". It was filled with useful information such as "maybe", "possibly" and "I have no idea.". It was refreshing to get some real solid information.

We all have fade route on ignore. If you do not, please do not quote him...sad,bitter,little man. (Fade, not you) :hi:

Bryson Allen-Williams is pretty upset with the new rankings. He fell out of the top 250 and he said he got 3 LB MVPs in 4 camps this spring.

tells you how BS they are

Well that shoots my theory about bot camping. No clue how he dripped with all those mvp showings.

1 person jumping by definition means that someone else is dropping. It's just the way it goes.

im not stupid. but what they do is if someone didnt camp, the kids near him will automatically pass him up just because they did camp. even if the non-camper is better. just because a kid is better than the last time they evaluated him, doesnt mean he is better than the kid that was previously ahead of him

It's not just camping but you better go to rivals camps to get bumped by them. Going to camps heavily covered by 247 will get you dropped as well

That's great to get the buzz of the rankings - but let's not forget this staff is lining up the class that puts UT back at the top of the SEC on the field.
