I know I am about to get blasted with this comment, but-instead of finding a new rival, I think UT should really work on beating the people on the schedule now. It seems we have a hard enough time with that.

I thought UGA played Oklahoma State in the last couple of years?

I personally hate USC. I would love to play them every year. They are cocky and rarely play anyone outside of the Pac 10 and Notre Dame, both of which are jokes. I also dislike The Ohio State University. Besides Texas who do they play?

Yeah.... they played them... but they played them in Athens... just like they play all their non-cons. They're scared to travel. Just looked and their going to Arizona State next year... it took them 50 years. Bet they didnt think they were going to be any good when they scheduled them!!!

It really helps with recruiting when you go out and schedule big time school... that's just one reason to do it. ESPN will tell you to schedule Buffalo, but that's garbage. It's in the spirit of competition, that's where the heart of a football teams lies.

I agree. When you schedule tough non-conference opponents, this will result in more tv time for both schools and allows recruits to see these programs. Also when you beat really good programs, this helps your ranking tremendously. Look at the 2004 Auburn team. Weak non-conference opponents hurt their chances of playing for the nc.
