RIPPLE--CLK-IFFY
RIPPLE--D.R.-BAD HIRE
RIPPLE--CREGG-IFFY
SPLASH--HCMK-HOMERUN
SPLASH--E.O.CO.HC-HOMERUN
RIPPLE--CHANEY-POTENTIAL (PURDUE?)

MISSES:

SPLASH--GARNER-HOMERUN
SPASH--T. TAYLOR-HOMERUN
SPLASH--TEE MARTIN-HOMERUN POTENIAL

ALONG W/ DRAYTON WOULD HAVE ROUNDED STAFF OUT QUICKLY AND SOLID.NOW WE HAVE TO RECRUIT AGAINST THEM :-(

when you have momentum, continue until the job is done.all im hearing is silence in completing this staff and very little positive recruiting news....what gives?

i do know, boyd and giles were positively recruiting for us and should have been made a priority to get them signed.too much talent to dismiss on a whim.

garner hiring was handled poorly.trooper snuck in the back door at auburn and now tee is possibly gone to oregon.solid coaches/recruiters,could and should have of had all 3.

lack of sec/ceo experiance blew this deal,im still less than impressed.never had much faith in a leader who fails to adapt to his enviroment.

oh well, fire away and please impress me w/ facts and not just blind faith, hope and dreams.

ive heard plenty of that from wonderboy!

Trooper Taylor is not a homerun. Tee Martin would be an embarrassment of a hire. I don't care what he did as a player.

I would give Kiffin at least a double and Trooper Taylor, I would say he would be a bad bunt back to the pitcher and Tee Martin has never been a college coach so at this time I would say he is a foul tip right now.

We hired a guy that produced top 10 offenses 9 of the 11 years he was at crappy as hell Purdue. And yet, Tee Martin and Chestbump are the guys we needed to make a splash. Give me a break.

I understand you wanting the facts so give us some facts on why t.t. or t.m. would be homeruns. Taylor is a good rec. but so is d.r. so hit me with some facts.

I stopped reading at T.Taylor - Homerun.

I love Tee and all but to call him a potential homerun and call Chaney a ripple is ridiculous.

With the glowing reviews Martin gets from his qb camps, I think he could start somewhere smaller, maybe DII or maybe even a non BCS school and work his way up and be really good. I don't know that he would be an "embarassment".

Can't argue with Trooper though.

He could be the best QB coach in the nation but if he's a Fulmer guy I'd prefer a signing ape.

trooper improved every position he coached for the vols as well as being a top 25 recruiter, thats just a silly rebuttle.

tee martin an embarressment to the vols, please get back on your med.s.hes coaching q.b.,s and also gets exposure from css,not to mention 1998 :stop:

i guess you prefer that homerun (family) threat we hired named reaves.....woo hoo,im stoked...smelly was a stud.

sorry i would rather have tee all day long, start him at tight ends coach.wonderboy is going to run the offense anyway.just ask him, even w/ hire an o.c. he has stated he will be calling the plays ?

another power junkie, didnt we just cut one of these loose.

So is Kiffin still waiting on these so called "under contract" coaches to round out staff? The only problem is the top ranked recruits are waiting on a position coach to see if the fit is right. As of now we got O and Monte on D and CLK and Chaney on O! Looking good so far:rock:

Tee" Martin (born July 25, 1978 in Mobile, Alabama) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League and Canadian Football League. In 2006, Martin served as quarterback coach/passing game coordinator at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He helped lead the Maroon Tiger offense to the number one total offense, passing offense, and rushing offense in the SIAC. In 2008, Martin served as offensive coordinator/quarterback coach at North Atlanta High School in Atlanta, GA and has served as quarterback/passing game coordinator at North Cobb High School in 2007 where he help to lead the Warriors to a 10-1 record.

dont forget he runs a top notch quarterback camps.and does commentary for css.seems to be on a fast track upwards.good time to lock him down?

i guess we are waiting for the ravens/steelers to finish their season to complete our staff..............ok

two weeks now and counting----nothing.recruits want to know now who may be their position coach.

While not the best conference in the country, I don't think many people would argue the Big 10 is a weak conference.

Having top offenses, nationally (great and poor conferences allll included) and top recruiting classes is impressive, regardless of where you are.

What offense did Trooper Taylor run? Tee Martin??? I'm not even going to get into your asinine assertion that Tee should coach Wide Receivers...a position he likely knows nothing about.

Any recruits we had a chance with, we still do. Most players aren't going to change it up based on some last minute hire.

Of course, what do you want? A couple recruits NOW or a solid coaching staff? With proper coaching the recruits will come.
