2015 will mark the first draft since 1963 in which no players from the University of Tennessee are selected.

AJ if he isn't in prison. Darr may be drafted or get a UFA contract. It is possible that J Williams will get an opportunity somewhere.

Doesn't matter...going to start a bigtime streak of elite players.

Not good enough to justify a pick given the climate, even if he's cleared.

Disagree. I think he was a 2nd-3rd pick before these allegations. Coming back for his senior year had improved his draft stock tremendously as he showed a lot more speed sideline-to-sideline this season. Some team will take a shot on him in the later rounds where you won't get burned that bad if he doesn't pan out. Cannot ignore his college numbers - 2nd leading tackler in UT HISTORY.

I would've shared this opinion had Tiny and Da'Rick been drafted.

NFL teams could care less about past transgressions. All they care about is a return on their investment. Teams would be foolish not to pick him up if he's still there after round 3.

Da'Rick's last season was at an insignificant FCS school and I think he had a lot more attitude issues than AJ. If his last year was at UT instead, he gets drafted. Tiny suffered from a very saturated OL class in 2014 draft.

If the charges are dropped, AJ will get drafted in first 3 rounds. Jordan Williams might get a shot in the later rounds like 6th or 7th. I think Darr will be UFA. We really only had Coleman left then. Maggitt is staying and if he has another 11-14 sack season will be in top 3 rounds. Worley will have to go UFA route if he wants to make it.

You know what this means?

It's means we are bringing back a metric butt-ton of talent next year.

Carry on.

Unfortunately, this is true. By NFL standards, A J is not all that good in pass coverage and he is a little small for a linebacker. He may very well get a shot with someone, but it will be as an undrafted free agent.

BTW, I think he will be cleared of the charges. Just my opinion.

Here's one guy who's forgotten more about football than I'll ever know who agrees (Walter from WalterFootball.com)

A.J. Johnson, ILB, Tennessee
Height: 6-2. Weight: 245.
Projected 40 Time: 4.71.
Projected Round (2015): FA.
12/13/14: Johnson killed his draft stock with an off-the-field arrest. He and a teammate are under investigation by Knoxville police on rape and sexual assault allegations. This wasn't Johnson's first arrest as last February he had a charge of purchasing alcohol for a minor. Johnson was suspended by Tennessee after the most recent incident.

I thought AJ was a 3rd-5th before this happened. If he's charged, he's off every single board, especially in this new NFL climate. No team would touch him. I could possibly see Coleman getting a 7th round pick.

Looking back in a couple of years, it will be very apparent at how inept Dooley was at recruiting, and will really show the magnitude of the mess CBJ walked in to. Next year's draft class will be terrible too, all a result of the bottom tier talent Dooley was recruiting.

I would've shared this opinion had Tiny and Da'Rick been drafted.

I totally disagree, Da'Rick had a long list of problems that started shortly after being on campus and continued through to his departure. He was and is a locker room cancer and anyone who asked the staff about him was probably told that. Tiny has a knee problem that isn't going to get better. NFL folks new that and thats why he wasn't drafted, and signed as UDFA. Its also the reason why he didn't stay for his SR year.
AJ has been a proven leader and a good player. If no charges are filed, he will be drafted. If charges are filed obvisously he won't.
