With my family all being Purdue diehards this one stings. Biggie was a BEAST on the court and seemed like a great guy his time in West Lafayette. NBA didn't work out and from all reports he got involved pretty bad into drugs and the drug world. Sad ending to a guy that busted hiss a$$ to lose a ton of weight and become a college superstar. Kid had a hard life. RIP

All I see are reports of marijuana possession. Was it more than that?

I got a best friend who can put on 10 lbs in a weekend, easy. When I met him (sophomore year of HS), he was double my weight. Now we weigh the same (190ish). I don't have to do anything to maintain 190 and he has to practice eternal vigilance. It's just not fair for some people.

Especially if you are a high level athlete, and then stop, for any reason. Your metabolism doesnt just shut down, or lower itself to a normal level.
