Dame Diana Riggs best known for her role as Mrs. Emma Peel in the 1960's television show The Avengers has passed away at 82.
Riggs left the show after 51 episodes after she felt she was being disrespected by producers and she also wanted to get into film.
She was cast as Bond girl, Mrs. Tracy Bond in 1969's On her Majesty's Secret Service opposite George Lazenby.
She has appeared in a number of films over the years in 2013 she was in an episode of Doctor Who along side her daughter Rachel Stirling and she gained fame once again the same year when she was cast in a recurring role on the hit HBO Series Game of Thrones as Lady Olenna Tyrell.
