There are pro franchises that just ooze success and the Steelers are one of those. RIP Mr. Rooney.

There are pro franchises that just ooze success and the Steelers are one of those. RIP Mr. Rooney.

That success came about only after he took over operations of the team in 1969 including hiring Chuck Noll. Prior to that, they were one of the worst franchies in the history of professional sports.
