October 16th 1925 - October 11th 2022

Best known for her role as Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote and the voice of Mrs. Potts in Disneys' animated film Beauty and the Beast.

RIP. I always liked her. I have fond memories of watching Murder She Wrote with my late Grandmother.

I watched many an hour of that with my wife. We always laughed that Cabot Cove, Maine seemed to have about 1 murder per citizen per year.

She was in "Gaslight". She would have been 17 years old during the filming. Stole the scenes she was in entirely.

Folks always talk about Beauty and the Beast. But this is the Disney movie I'll always think of her in. Rented it I don't know how many times as a kid. May she Rest in Peace.

yeah, i can still hear her incantation that created that ghost army. Holy cow. At age 5 that was the creepiest thing I'd ever seen.

She also played one of the worst moms ever. One of my favorite political thrillers.
