I listed the 4 I think we end up with. I think after 1-2 years in the program Elliot Berry could develop into a LB. I listed him at S as I think that is where he plays early on. McDowell is another that could grow into a LB role. I listed Evan at CB, and he could put on 15lbs and be a S. Several of these guys could play several positions during their time at Tennessee.

Take out Lammons and put Wharton there & add Lamin or Ford and that's how we finish.JMO.

6-Ev. Berry
7-El. Berry

Only leaves 3 openings. 4 if Dews is GS. 5 if Bryant does not qualify.

Who do we want to fill those last 3-5 spots?
Booth or Malone? or both.

Have to have at least one more o-lineman and preferably two. Raulerson looks like he will commit soon.

Then it's down to DT. Ford, Humphreys, Lamin, or someone else?

If Blair does go somewhere else we could move Mosley to O-line and open a spot for another DT. If we don't get Hendrix we could leave Barnett at SDE and open up another DT spot. Would sure hate to turn away a Ford, Lamin, or Humphreys (or anyone else of their caliber on D-line).

I think Malone would be one that may wait till NSD and we will have a hat on the table....hopefully he is full orange

So.... from the looks of it I can't seem to think this class won't be #1 come national signing day. Top 5 at the worst.

While I love the enthusiasm, the only way this class has a real chance at #1 is if we sign Adoree Jackson and Clifton Garrett somewhere with our last few spots. I think we have a good shot at top 5, but I don't see us with the #1

Yeah. It's impossible to be number 1 without a 5*. If Hurd, TK or Helm got bumped or if Adoree' commits we have a chance.

I feel Gavin Bryant ends up at AU or UA. I was feeling like Powell was a decommit possibility but his latest comments made me feel better.

I don't feel a ton of confidence on Hendrix or Wilson but I think the Vols are in great shape with JH and in better shape than most think with PW.

Assuming Mouhon and Raulerson commit this weekend:

1 OL - JUCO OT (Hopefully Blair)
1 DE - HS SDE (Hopefully Hendrix)
3 DT - Combination of Lambert, Lamin, Barnett, Mosley, Ford, Humphreys, and Williams.
1 CB - 99% Gaulden

We will 100% take those 6 slots plus Mouhon and Raulerson, so to take a guy like Malone or Jackson would mean we are cutting someone.

I'd agree, but I don't think everyone currently committed will end up apart of the class on NSD. Obviously, Dews would be bumped to a grayshirt. Bryant might not qualify as some have stated. While I'm fairly confident Powell is all-Vol now, if I had to pick someone who might sway it would be him. Booth seems to be a lock but I personally don't even think he's necessary at this point and wouldn't be too upset if we didn't take him. I'm being optimistic here and wondering what we're going to do if Jackson, Garrett, or someone else unexpected wants in.

This. I just don't understand why ppl think this coming up year has anything to do with our current commits 'sticking'. They are wanting to turn this program around THEMSELVES. JMO
