just found out today that I will not be able to bring my little 8 week old girl to her first Tennessee game because I will need to have two tickets instead of one. She will be in a front cover back-pack carrier and it still means that I have to get a second ticket...absolutely moronic if you ask me. If we were making money it wouldn't be an issue...

Not be be that guy, but why in the world would you bring an 8 week old to a football game?

Yea I do not think they have ever allowed "lap passes" for infants.

8 week old, not sure I can concur in that being a good idea. Just my opinion.

Yeah, your parenting is your own business... but I can't really imagine a safe place for an 8 week old's hearing in Neyland.

I went to my first game when I was 3 or 4. Seems like a better time to start. My hearing loss has only reached the point where I can't hear my wife. Not really an issue.

You could give me all free tickets and I still wouldn't take a baby to a game that's going to be that loud much less what the weather could be.

I wouldn't risk the possible ear damage to my baby.

VFL...GBO!!!

That's been the policy since at least the early 80s, so I doubt you're going to find a lot of support to change it. That's the policy at virtually every pro and college stadium I've ever been to.

Don't think I'd want to be the guy sitting next to a crying baby either. Opposing team fans are bad enough. :)

How young is too young for kids? Planning on coming to the Mizzou game with my two kids and now having second thoughts.
