I heard an interview tonight @6:00 on ESPN radio. The guy sounded pretty upbeat. Nothing cocky but said he is starting to get some of USC recruits. Said he has been playing Rocky Top in practice getting them ready. I was looking to find something he would say to hate him but he said nothing and was respectful towards Kiffin and coach O. Anyone else hear the interview? It was about 3-5 minutes long.

"Skippy" Neuheisel is a pretty good coach and he has a great O coordinator. I doubt if he wants to further raise the ire of the Vol faithful. He knows better than to poke the hornets nest with a stick.

Hearing rocky top is just about 15 percent of it.

The rest is half drunk, hell raising fans.

I hope for one day the collective Neyland acts like it's attending a football game and not The Masters.

Kiffin is even calling for some hell raising and I haven't seen it any where except on volquest I think.

It's an average of the whole crowd.

For example sober granny and drunk business would equal a half drunk person.

I remember when Cal said they had sprayed their practice field with water to get prepared for our humidity and then they were all set and ready for the Neyland stadium experience...

... Then we knocked out one of their starters on the opening kickoff. :hi:

Dang is it that humid here that you have to wet the field down to accurately simulate it out west? Must be really really dry out there.

I think they were simulating what we here in the southeast call rain.

Like I said earlier, Rickie and his boys are going down Saturday. Him being a nice guy has no bearing on this issue..

After making the trip last year and making the trip this weekend......I want revenge. A Cal-type score would suffice.

I did hear this interview by Doug Gottlieb. I agree that it was a good interview. One thing about Neuheisel...he knows how to "work" an interview.

Anyways, he did say some things that caught my attention......1)he said something like Kiffin wants to be like Pete Carrol and play "that" physical style of football. Followed up by saying "we will see if they can do it". 2) expects Kiffin to run alot of bootlegs, naked bootlegs, and quick throws on offense. Not letting Tennessee's O-line do a lot of difficult pass protection.

I agree. But, there won't be hell raising throughout the stadium. Until, Hamilton puts the students in groups all around the lower level. The west side is pathetic! I couldn't get any of them off of there arses!!!

Moving from N of LA back to TN this saturday, after the game of course, I will do my best to sing Rocky Top at the bar here on their turf, just make me proud on ours!

It would be nice to see our defense completely shut them out. Not sure that will happen, but I hope to win big!

If i look at myself as half drunk as opposed to half sober, does that make me a optimist or a pessimist?
Or better yet an underachiever?

Neuheisel is a disgrace to the college game, and how he can be trusted to lead 85 young men is mind-blowing.

I'm hoping for a 56-point win.
