Apparently our new HC is going to be a surprise, or "big splash" if you will; does anyone think Hamilton could be talking to Neuheisel? He's making a cool 1.25 million right now at UCLA, so I think enough money could possibly even lure him away from his alma matter. He has a better chance to suceed at Tennessee, and we all know how competitive of a guy he is so I am wondering if he might jump ship in LA to come to the SEC. Getting Norm Chow coming back to Tennessee is another plus of hiring Neuheisel as well. Thoughts?

If the hire was a big splash, it would be more in the Gruden, Cowher, Davis area. I don't think any of those guys are very realistic right now. I think the author of the article was trying to create interest.

The adamancy of these responses is amusing to say the least. Haha thanks guys. Well I guess I will just go ahead and jump on one of the genius bandwagons and hope we'll hire the Manchurian candidate Chris Petersen, and watch our program go down the tube. That should make for good entertainment the next four years. Every coach pumped out of the dynasty that is Boise State is a winner in my book. Lets git r dun

You answered your own question. Coach Cool does not equal big splash. Unless you count making it rain at a titty bar with recruits.
