Rick Barnes can...spend more time working with the bigs
rebounding, post game and finishing around the rim . If he gets them ready, Vols will do well in the SEC! I really loved the way Admiral played last night!

As I watched that game last night, I kept thinking how Jabari would've helped.

Me too. We needed that energy off the bench and somebody to contend with the big guy. J would have handled him. He wasn't that great.

Uhmmm....you watched any NBA lately????

Come on. If you're about to recycle the old "no defense in the NBA" BS, watch an NBA game first.

But Wiltjer isn't going to be a first-round pick either way. So when people say he's overrated, they're not saying much.

Wish he had stayed around. It's amazing how we have lost so many bigs that would have made this team complete. I think back to Cofer ( at FSU ) and CJ Turman. Jabari definitely brought a lot of energy and would have helped as well. Good luck at WKU!

Damn I hate seeing fans degrade our players

The kid is playing extremely unselfish and had been our leading rebounder much of the year. He is doing what is ask of him. This kind of bs is disgusting

If you think he is a division 1 player your blind. Or should I say a power conference player.

I think he is a player that without his efforts over the past 2 seasons we would have lost more gAmes. I have never doubted his effort and appreciate that.

We need better players but that doesn't change the fact the disrespect that kid gets here is sad sad sad

He is only seeing the floor because we have no other choices. But he sucks.

He has played over Alexander and kasongo all year long.

Those are two guys were are putting a hell of a lot eggs in their basket for the future. Not sure what that says about the future

Gotta disagree, Hubbs had absolutely no bounce. It was really affecting his game, especially his shot.

Absolutely. No bounce and not much lateral quickness back yet. He'll get there, I'm guessing he's just getting tired of having to miss games. So he rushed it a hair.

That's rust I believe after a few games it'll all be back. I'd say by auburn or Florida he'll be back to the hubbs we've seen.

Hubbs was coming up short on a number of runners before the surgery. Perhaps that was a result of the knee but I didn't see as big of a difference as you guys appear to have seen

Which difference? Last year to this year or before versus after his scope?

This year. He missed a number of 8-10 foot runners short before the surgery. He was leaving 1-2 extra baskets short a game

Might have been the knee problems then as well

I haven't studied his stats, but I thought he was far more effective this year. Seemed like last year he would usually stand on the perimeter, catch a pass, stand there and either pass back around the perimeter or miss open 3 pointers. This year he was getting looks off of his dribble cutting into the paint.

Oh he's been far more effective no doubt but could have been even better IMO. Those runners missed could made a difference

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we made the tourny. Its highly unlikely but our boys are playing good ball.

I think it's unlikely, but seeing what RPI forecast predicts 18-13 as it would be possible if they could win a few of these upcoming games that are predicted to be close losses.

Not sure how you can read 18-13 into rpiforecast.
Sagarin's been pretty close lately.
What was the Gonzaga line(vegas)? he had it 7.7.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't make a roster somewhere...kid can blow the eyes out of it from half court...very accomplished, polished player without a doubt...

He was originally one of those KY thugs, I wish him nothing but the worst ...

Huh? I'm saying what RPI forecast predicts our RPI as if we finish 18-13, I'm not saying that they're predicting us to finish with that record, they still have us at 15-16.

The man can flat out coach. Three years will make all the difference in the world! Vol basketball will be relevant once again!
