Richt's take on Lane's remarks

So what is the definition of class sir? Is it buying a tacky plastic UT license plate cover and putting it up as you're avatar? Well in that case, as that great Ron Burgundy would say

You stay classy Sensitive Sally.

Cover? LOL

Keep talking. Every word out of your mouth is further confirmation of who you are and your level of intelligence. Death thread?

I must say that as much as I hate UGA, I do respect Richt. Look at the contrast between Pete Carroll at Sanchez's press conference and Richt at Stafford/Moreno's press conference. Night and day.

Richt's still on thin ice after that florida debacle in 2007. He's not going to criticize any SEC coach for anything. That stunt could have cost him his job.

I wonder if Foley started this without Urban really being upset?

I think Urban may have just brushed it off as well.

May be Foley is the one that kept this in the news so long?

Classy. I don't like Georgia or their fans ... but I really do like Richt. Wish he was coaching somewhere else.

What? If Richt gets fired, it would not be due to what amounted to a penalty. It would be due to his inability to get over the hump. Georgia's dumb, but they're not that dumb.

You mean that stunt in that game when they beat Florida for the first time in forever? The guy could have been elected governor after that game. The idea that it could have cost him his job is laughable.

CMR is one classy dude. If I didn't love the Vols so much, it wouldn't take me long to be a UGA fan. I like the way he carries himself on and off the field. He is a very religious man. You sure don't see him flaunting it around like Tebag does. You sure don't see ESPN covering story after story after story on CMR. I agree with what he said " Shut up CUM and quit crying"

I'm sure Richt gets the little detail that many in this forum don't...Kiffin did not take his accusation public or make it official. It was simply a toss away statement made to fire up the fan base and it was subsequently leaked to the press. The fact that CUM and Foley were all affended, boo effen hoo, is what caused this thing to go crazy.

The very next year didn't the Gators call a time out late just to extend their lead with a field goal as payback? If so maybe he rattled that gator cage all he felt was safe to.

Remember, you can't say anything negative about the 'mighty gators' or you'll get reprimanded. I believe it was Steve Spurrier when he was at Florida that was the biggest sh!t talker about UT, UG or FSU. But the SEC or anybody else never said anything to him.

Anyone else notice the video's they played of each coach. I don't know if they meant to do it, but all the video's they played of CLK, were of him smiling, with his hot wife, arm around ADMH. Then all the video's of CUM were of him yelling on the field, looking angry, looking sad. It was quite comical iyam.

Also CMR is a classy guy. Atleast in front of a camera, he knows what to say without really saying anything at all. Political career in the future?

Has you left out the part about "classy", I'd agree with you on the political career! I am a big CMR fan, and I'd cheer for Georgia any day over UF. Any ... day...
