Under Richt, Georgia has found the right answers given an extra week to prepare.
The Bulldogs are 9-1 in the regular season since 2002 coming off an open date. The only loss during that stretch was a 31-30 loss to Auburn in 2005.
"It is an advantage certainly," Richt said. "Even a year ago, Tennessee played us and they had the open date and we didn't, and it showed. I hope it becomes a very positive thing for us. They had to play a game, a hard-fought game. They had less time to rest and less time to think about Georgia."
