He was the freaking #2 dual threat QB coming out of high school. If he knows the pocket collapses soon he's got to get the ball out quicker. He has little pocket awareness. Heck, all he has to do is not fumble 3 times and throw a pick and we're not having this discussion.
But he did. And we are. Because we always do. Because he's JG
We lost the game because of our inability to run the ball( our offensive line was horrible), the relentless rush that we couldn't stop(it was coming from the front , back ,sides, everywhere at the same time). I've been around football for a very , very long time and I'll trust my ability to see what's happening on the field. Didn't say that JG is the greatest quarterback we've fielded, but the loss is not on him. I also saw that offensive coaches let us down. Our offense was not prepared for this game. One last comment, Georgia's defense is about as good as you'll ever see in college football.
