It seems that Vol fans have let this "power" go to their heads. Schiano was a good reason to revolt. He is a scumbag with PSU pedo ties that will not be a good representative. However, revolting over a coach simply because you don't believe he is a good enough coach is getting out of hand.

aside from Schiano, and really he was just the igniter to the overall issue, the main issue i get from all the unrest is the willingness now to voice the disapproval of how things are run at UTAD.

the administration, power brokers and the single booster that have run this in to the ground the last 10 years is more of the focus---or it should most certainly be---of any so called "revolt".

people would have, and were, behind Brohm and Gundy. and they'll get behind Sumlin, Martin, Miles.

it's that it had to get to the point that it has, that folks like that are even now being CONSIDERED. and that apparently no one was considered except Schiano from the beginning.

it's about failed leadership, and they're continued reliance on, and allowance of, a single entity to continue to fail. and if anyone is just pissed about any single coach, then, imo, they're missing the point.

it's beyond 'a coach' for most of us.

Chad Morris is a heck of a coach. He's completely turned SMU around and taking them to a bowl. And he was the mastermind behind the Clemson offense that's fresh off a national title.

So we offered Doreen and not Morris? That is just mind-boggling. Morris is a damn good coach. What he did at Clemson, and is doing at SMU speaks volumes. He almost beat UCF this year. He will be a success somewhere soon. Will be interesting to see where while we chase the Doreen's of the coaching world, or recycle Sumlin.

Listen to what you are saying. "He almost beat UCF."

How does that compute to what it takes to win in the SEC? It doesn't...it's laughable and the school deserves better.

Agreed it the failure to work cohesivelly as a single unit between the ad,president, and boosters to reach single goal which is to put very best coach out there. It's amazing after over a decade we still fail to do so.....to many egos and personal agendas to do what's best for school, fans, and most importantly student athletes
