I like the team report that is on Yahoo for the Vols. Can we extract revenge all the way through the finals?

excerpt:
"This year’s Southeastern Conference tournament is rapidly shaping up as a revenge tour for Tennessee.

After starting the event Friday night in Tampa with a blowout win over an Alabama team which upset them on Sunday in Knoxville, the Volunteers face Auburn—which beat them last month in Auburn—in a Saturday semifinal.

Should UT get past the league’s hottest team, which could seal an NCAA Tournament berth for the Volunteers by reaching the championship game, it might get a second crack at LSU in Sunday’s final. The Tigers were one of four teams to beat the Vols in Knoxville during January.

While UT players and coach Bruce Pearl say the main priorities are winning games and improving their seeding for next week’s NCAA tourney, they also admitted that seeing Alabama celebrate on their floor helped fire them up for their SEC opener.

“It’s always human nature to say that they beat us at home and ruined our Senior Night,” forward Tyler Smith said. “But it was just something that we came out and wanted to prove to ourselves, not them.”

Depending on how Saturday’s games turn out, Smith and the Vols might have a couple of more opportunities to repeat those comments.

They've won 9 of their last 10 including a win by 16 over LSU. I'd say they're on a roll.

Yeah, the point is that we could've lost last night and still gotten into the tournament. The author's not very well informed.

Read the part I bolded. That's why the author is an idiot.

After reading it again I wished that I hadn't posted it. :) Oh well, let people bash me. I can take it. :p

I was originally going to post something (original) about how we had the chance to avenge losses all the way through the tournament but decided I'd see what others were writing about the subject and there it was - an article talking about just that. Bad choice on my part. Ah, well.
