Lots of speculation on the board this morning about what may have triggered the evening pall.

Was it Cam's fumble?
JRM's ejection?
Dobbs terrible interception?

I tend to agree with everyone here that each played a part in the morass.

But here is where I think the biggest potential problem exists: all of these events came against a Sun Belt team (a good one yes), in the 1st or 2nd quarter, and at home!!

My point is this: if any of these events played a part in demoralizing this team, which an argument can be made is true: how fragile is this team mentally considering the circumstances? And even though this is Team 120, are the ghosts of Team 119 still haunting? Resolve and resiliency indeed ............

Hence why so many prognosticators are still in that "gotta prove it to me camp". I tend to agree with them after last night (sigh).

So are you arguing that this team has resolve or that it doesn't? You said we're fragile mentally but finished it off with "resolve and resiliency indeed."

Look, for the most part our players played hard and fought their way through this game. App St showed they were no joke on the defensive side of the ball last night and I think our problem with the Oline is talent, the running game is play calling, and Dobbs just had a bad game. I'm not going to jump ship over this performance like some of the other pansies on this board are doing who obviously have developed FAD over the years (Football Anxiety Disorder). I think the coaches make adjustments and we still win 10 this year.

Defense was subpar in the 1st quarter but got themselves together and played much better. The offense was lost. The O line was awful. Coleman Thomas got his butt handed to him over and over. I am not sure what happened but it is obvious that we need Chance Hall back. End the end we won but it doesn't give me much relief as I am packing for Bristol. I looked like a Dooley coached team last night and that is unacceptable.

Most all of the posted neg. commits in all topics I've read go back to bad off. line.

We got caught up in what everyone was saying about us. We'll be fine. You'll see them ready to play in Bristol. Bank on it.
