Well I've used up all of my free trials so I'm gonna have to go buy a 1 month from GameStop later.

Hold off on buying that. MS fixed the little loophole yesterday w/ fake JAP accounts.

I've been reading that you can download it here and burn it to a CD. Then, you can play it on the 360.

Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

- this will get you one (1!) folder named "content"
- burn this folder to a cd, burn it as a data CD with Nero works fine.
- insert cd into 360, it will show up as "mixed media"
- navigate to "my xbox", "demos"
- click & play!

Not sure what to tell you. I burned it and it worked.

I grabbed the files from a different place but should be the same files. On the disc you have the file structure

\content\0000000000000000\434387F2\00080000\

The file is named:
F1DDFE89B7AB645A93E17B12DA7D91588B3255A343

I burned to a CDR and threw it in the 360, went to My Xbox, Games Library and it was listed in there.

As for the game, I don't think it's for me. I find the controls sluggish, slow, and just not all that fun after the first play through. Some nice graphics, indeed, but not being able to move while aiming seems strange. But, I'll be honest and admit I've never played any of the other RE games more than a few minutes. Never was my type of game.

Well, you've never been able to move while shooting in any of the RE games. It forces you to pay more attention to what exactly you're doing, what you're shooting, and how many enemies are around you. It's not meant to be a first person shooter, and if it were I think it would make them too easy. They're not really games where you can load up on ammo and just go crazy, which an aspect of the survival horror genre. If it's not your bag that's cool, just sort of explaining it.
