I've just been accepted to UT for fall 2012, and I now need to fill out my housing application. I'm a guy, and my roomate and I want a suite-style room. Which one do you recommend -- Clement, Reese, North Carrick, or Gibbs? (and is there any chance of getting in to Gibbs?)

Gibbs is actually the easiest to get into.... I've heard they are the rowdiest and have a lot of sexual experiences

Enjoy your time at UT. Just remember - when you get out you have to work for the next 40 years !

Can't help you with the dorms. Haven't lived in one for 30 years. Unfortunately for you they were all there then.

It's fine that we haven't built any new student dorms since the 60's.

We had stadiums to expand and Football complexes to build.

School's got to keep it's priorities straight.

I loved my time there. Hope you feel the same.

I lived in Reese last year and I enjoyed it a lot. Reese and carrick are pretty much the same except Reese is a little closer to parking.either one of those would be fine. After those I would probably live in Massey. It is not suite style but the rooms are bigger and it is very close to class. After that probably Hess or Gibbs. Definitely not clement

I lived in North Carrick two years ago. That's a good bet. Hess is the jungle, dont want to go there, plus you have community bathrooms. Carrick or Reese - you'll be in Presidential, closest to food etc. Definitely the way to go
