Hey-oh!1. Oh lawdy the sky is fallin! I too believe polling 0.00067% of the population is a great indicator of how things are.
2. This poll is skewed simply for the fact that it was a telephone interview. those will always heavily favor democrats because the republicans didnt asnwer their phones..they were working.
3. I always enjoy seeing the education level numbers. I'd love to see those broken down by party affiliation. I see a lot of communications, gender studies, women studies, what if harry potter was real? Studies, and psychology majors in that fantasy land called the liberal mind.

How is a finding that 43% of respondents who identify with the Republican Party say they believe humans have evolved over time skewed because it is a telephone poll? Skewed toward older Republicans, perhaps, but the respondents say they are Republicans.
Evolution is part of Obamacare so results not surprising.
I saw that study pop up yesterday, I don't think anyone is surprised at the reactions here. Attacking the poll instead of the results is silly, PEW is not exactly a MSNBC viewer opinion poll.
Most analysis in this report is based on respondents asked about human evolution (N=1,983). An additional 2,023 respondents were asked questions about animal evolution. The margin of error for those asked about animal evolution is +/- 2.9 percentage points.
